Chamber Announces Theme For

Annual Rodeo Parade

 

On Monday, May 7^th the Burwell Chamber of Commerce announced the theme for the 2007 Rodeo Parade: “Great American Hero’s”.  A total of 20 theme ideas were submitted from community members for this year’s parade.  Ty and Dylan Petersen two (2) young avid rodeo fans and parade participates submitted this years winning theme idea.  Ty and Dylan received $20 in Chamber Bucks from the Burwell Chamber of Commerce and 2 free tickets to this years rodeo from the Garfield County/Frontier Fair Association for submitting this years winning theme entry.

 

The date of this year’s parade is set for Saturday, July 28^th. The Burwell Chamber of Commerce is looking forward to this years entries.  The annual parade is a wonderful opportunity for families, businesses, churches and local organizations to show their spirit for the Burwell community.

 

Currently the Burwell Chamber of Commerce is planning this year’s parade and seeking volunteers to assist with the event. Any individual, business or organizations willing to help with this year’s event is encouraged to contact the chamber office at (308) 346-5210.
